Exams

Exams are an important part of understanding the ‘art of performance’.  They also serve as a useful yardstick by which students can measure there progress.  It is important however to understand that examinations are a PART of the process, and we NEVER allow students to just study for exams without gaining a well rounded music education.

Exams are always taken in consultation with the student and or parent and details of which pieces I recommend to study can be found in the links below.

Please note at this moment in time I only offer to tutor students for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. I have a 100% pass rate with this exam board over twelve years of teaching and we also have some of the best marks in the UK for each entry.
