Lesson 4 in our Now’s The Time Transcription project and we’re nearing the end of the first chorus of Parker’s solo. Please don’t worry if you’re not quite there yet, but today we’re going to luck at at ‘stock’ Charlie Parker phrase, and work out why on earth it has something to do with ‘Woody the Woodpecker.’
